“ How can people said I’m insane?” I’m not “crazy”. It’s the first thing that the narrator told us in the story “The Tell - Tale Heart”. But we can found out the truth just in the next paragraph, that he is really a crazy man. He said he was “wise” that he planed the very carefully plan to killed the old man. He even used an hour to open the old man’s room door at night. Why he wanted to kill the old man? He had already said that the old man treated he very good, but why? Just because he though the old man’s eye looks like the vulture ‘s eye. His reason can’t even be a reason for killing people. He said he is very “clam”, also he could heard the sound from the heaven, earth, even the hell. It usually made people thought that he was really geting close to the death and geting crazy and crazy. We can just see there is a crazy and nervous person, who stand in the dark and told his confession about his killed plan.Even without any rue but been very proud of himself. Those of clues that we could find for the event, can made us discovered the truth without the obstruction from other’s opinion.

ReplyDeleteIn your writing, you get a lot of irony point, and I very agree the sentence from "Just because he though to even be a reason for killing people, that is a very great part to think he is a very insane person.

ReplyDeleteThis narrator is definitely an unreliable narrator. However, this clue actually makes us feel not safe at all because we know the narrator is obviously not telling the truth.
