ESLII Journal 21: Falling Action

Kestrel walked around her room and tried to find the other way to go out. But her room is in the second floor. It only have one door in her room. When Kestrel became confused, she heard the sound on the top of the house. It heard likes there is some one on the roof. She guess it the worker who was fixing the roof. And the smile retured on her ashen face. She opened her window, just liked what she though. There is a ladder close to her window, but she couldn’t touched it. She first made sure the worker was already on the roof. And she used the stick to pull the ladder close to her window. Kestrel went out the window and climbed down the ladder carefully. Because it was the first time she used the ladder, her mother always limited all the things she though was dangerous for her. Just like the ladder. When Kestrel stepped on the ground, she started to run. It was already late for the time that she promised to her friend. She ran over the forest as fast as she could, when she arrived to the top of mountain. Her friend was sitting under the tree, she could’d saw it, but she still knew it.
