Kestrel woke up in the early morning, she prepared all the things she would need when she went to meet her friend. But when she was ready, she discovered that her room door was locked! She couldn’t open insides, it locked at outside. And she graphed a notes on the floor. It was wrote by her mom, it said she needed to go to other city but she don’t want Kestrel went out again, so she limited her in her room until she went back. It made Kestrel become very nervose. It was the last day before she went back to the city. So today is the last day she could went to the mountain. She wants to realize her promise and enjoyed the last time to play with first friend. But the door was locked, and her mother had already warned her. She had nerver disobey her mother’s notion, she knew it’s all because mother was worried about her. Her mother wants to protect her. But she wants to treasure the last time to be with her first friends. Kestrel didn’t knew what to do. But in the boton of her mind, the intense for worried she would nerver met her friend had become bigger and bigger.
